Description of the genus

Lianes, bearing tendrils. Latex white. Stipules 0. Inflorescence terminal, of cymes clustered in panicles. Calyx lobes free. Corolla salver-shaped; lobes overlapping to the left. Ovary hairy. Carpels completely fused into a glabrous, fleshy indehiscent, many-seeded berry.

Worldwide: 3 species in tropical Africa and Madagascar

Mozambique: 1 taxon.
