Description of the genus

Annual. Leaves alternate, pinnatifid. Capitula radiate, solitary at ends of branches. Receptacle dome-like. Ray florets female, 1-rowed, with white to pale blue elongate ligules. Disk florets bisexual, yellow, 5-dentate. Anthers 5. Achenes slightly flattened, pubescent. Pappus rudimentary, of very minute (c. 0.1 mm) scales.

Worldwide: 1 species occurring only in coastal Mozambique

Mozambique: 1 taxon.
