Description:
Shrub or small tree. Leaves often at apex of lateral and main branches, or with several pairs on current season’s growth, not always fully mature at time of flowering, elliptic to round, 2–7.5 cm long, hairless or sometimes sparsely pubescent on both surfaces; lateral nerves in 4–5 main pairs; hair-tuft domatia usually present; petioles 2–10 mm long, hairless or sparsely pubescent; stipules triangular at base, subulate above, 2–6 mm long. Flowers 5-merous, in 3–20-flowered inflorescences along the length of mature stems or restricted to the apex; peduncles 2–12 mm long, more or less pubescent pubescent; pedicels up to 3 mm long. Corolla greenish-white or yellowish; tube 1–2 mm long, pubescent at throat; lobes triangular-ovate to ovate, 2–3 mm long, thickened at apex, often finely velvety at the margin. Fruit more or less square in lateral view, 9–11 mm in diameter, deeply indented at apex.
