Description:
Notes: Closely related and similar to Impatiens oreocallis, which differs in having sessile leaves and emarginate upper lobes of the lateral petals.
Derivation of specific name: zombensis: from Zomba in southern Malawi, although the type specimen is possibly from Mt Mulanje.
Habitat: On wet rocks and moist, shaded streambanks, along forest edges and sometimes in open secondary scrub.
Altitude range: 870 - 2250 m
