First collection for Zimbabwe.

Alistair Hull's observations have revealed the species extends from the above grid reference downstream roughly parallel to the Zambezi in mopane woodland as far as Grid Reference QN800650 but may occur further along. A separate record has been added to the site for that point.

Alistair Hull reports that Combretum goetzei occurs from QN585595 downstream roughly parallel to the Zambezi in mopane woodland as far as Grid Reference QN800650 but may occur further along. This separate record (58974) has been added to the site for the point QN800650.
