| Description: |
Multi-stemmed shrub, up to c. 3 m. Stems and branches with brownish hairs when young, often with a zigzag shape. Leaves imparipinnate with 5-7 pairs of leaflets and a terminal leaflet; leaflets up to 2.5 × 1.5 cm, elliptic-oblong, hairy on both surfaces. Inflorescences numerous erect axillary spikes. Flowers bright reddish-pink, up to 1.7 cm long; standard twice as long as the keel, pointed. Pods cylindric, up to c. 50 × 4 mm, strongly beaked, bent downwards, hairless. |
