Description:
Tall annual herb up to 2 m, with angular stems. Flowers in dense, hairy inflorescences along the upper part of the stem. Flowers small and pink, often hidden in the woolly bracts.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: pectinata: comb-like
Habitat: In damp places such as by streams and dams, sometimes in disturbed sites.
Altitude range: 50 - 1800 m
