Description:
Herbaceous or soft-wooded shrub. Leaves broadly lanceolate to oblong-elliptic; margins strongly undulate and serrate with sharp teeth. Capitula solitary along the branches. Florets mostly tubular, white, sometimes tinged with mauve.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: adoensis: from Aden, Arabia
Habitat: In miombo woodland and wooded grassland, often near streams.
