Description:	Initially growing along the ground the plant has simple, deeply cordate leaves, typical for many species in Araceae. Under favorable conditions it may become a vigorous climber and the leaves become pamately to pedately divided. Inflorescences in pseudo-umbellate clusters, whitish.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name:	pdodphyllum: from the Greek: podos meaning foot, phyllon, a leaf, alluding to the stout petioles.
