Description of the genus

Shrubs, lianes or small trees, unarmed. Leaves 2-pinnate, pinnae 2-6 per leaf. Pod woody, dehiscent; valves separating along both margins.

Worldwide: A genus of 7 species in tropical Africa.

Mozambique: 1 taxon.
