Description of the genus

Subscandent shrubs. Leaves lobed. Epicalyx of 3 incised-dentate bracts. Calyx shortly 5-dentate. Ovary 3–5-locular. Fruit capsule loculicidally dehiscent. Seeds ovoid.

Worldwide: Three species in tropical Africa.

Mozambique: 1 taxon.
