Derivation of name: After Frederick Ziervogel van der Merwe (1894–1968), a South African botanist who specialised in the Hyacinthaceae family. Worldwide: Three species in montane areas of Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini and South Africa. Mozambique: 1 taxon. |
