Description of the genus

Derivation of name: The generic name recognises the locality of the two species, which is predominantly in the KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa, and honours the iconic Zulu community.

Worldwide: Tanzania south to South Africa.

Mozambique: 1 taxon.
