Description of the genus

Shrubs or small trees. Leaves alternate, 3-foliolate; leaflets densely dotted with pellucid glands. Inflorescence of short racemes or panicles, axillary and terminal. Sepals 4, ovate, united at the base. Fruit very woody, globose, 4-locular; loculi 1-seeded. Seed oblong; endosperm absent.

Mozambique: 2 taxa.
