| Description: |
Annual or short-lived perennial herb, up to 1.5 cm tall. All part with numerous stinging hairs. Leaves ovate 8-15 cm long, acuminate at the apex; margin coarsely serrate with 25-35 teeth each side. Flowers in axillary panicles, unisexual, normally on the same plant. Male flowers in the axils of the lower leaves; female flowers in fan-shaped clusters; panicles up to 20 cm long in the axils of the upper leaves. |
