Erect annual or sometimes perennial herb, 15-35 cm high. Leaves alternate, linear-lanceolate, with appressed stiff hairs on both surfaces; margin entire, often rolled under. Flowers in multiple elongating inflorescences, white, usually yellow-orange inside the corolla tube; corolla lobes broadly triangular to slightly rounded. Fruits almost round, up to 1.5 × 2.2 mm, densely covered in whitish appressed hairs. |
