| Description: |
Shrub or climber up to 10 m. Leaves 13-27 cm with (2-) 4-7 pairs of leaflets plus a terminal leaflet. Leaflets narrowly ovate, long-acuminate. Pedicels 1-2 cm, articulated c.3.5 mm from the top, with 2 bracts towards the base. Calyx whitish; lobes 0.6-1.2 cm, apiculate. Corolla mauve-pink; tube 3.5-5 cm; glabrous outside, hairy within. Capsule 35-48 × 1.5 cm. Seeds 0.6-1 × 3 cm (including wings). |
