Terrestrial herb up to 80 cm tall. leaves 4-5, well developed at flowering time, suberect with a distinct petiole, longest up to 1 m long, lanceolate or oblanceolate, plicate. Inflorescence fairly densely many-flowered; bracts 10-55 mm long, linear lanceolate. Flowers spreading. Sepals dull greenish, bronze or greenish-red, 14-23 mm long, narrowly oblong. petals white 13-18 mm long, elliptic-oblong, projecting over the column. Lip 3-lobed, 12-17 mm long, green with a purple callus. Spur incurved, conical-cylindric, 4 mm long. |
