| Description: |
Normally a shrub, possibly rarely a small tree. Bark very pale, whitish-grey, corky. Leaves opposite or in whorls of 3, simple, elliptic to ovate-lanceolate, up to 20 cm, pale green, often with a bronze tinge below; domatia very reduced or absent; stipule ovate or triangular, 2 mm with several teeth. Flowers in terminal clusters, white fading to yellow; corolla c. 8 mm in diameter; lobes spreading. Fruit an ellipsoid drupe, slightly ribbed when dry. |
