Liane to 5 m long. Leaves: lamina ovate to broadly elliptic, hairless when mature; petiole with a pair of glands near apex. Inflorescence 5-12 cm long, a many-flowered raceme. Flowers c. 2.5 cm in diameter. Petals yellow, ± oblong, unguiculate; apex rounded; base cordate to ± sagittate. Filaments yellow or red; anthers yellow to orange. Fruit a samara, the lateral wing divided into 6 usually minutely dentate lobes. |
