| Description: |
Shrub or small tree, up to 5 m, sometimes scrambling or climbing. Leaf lamina 7-12 × 0.5 - 4.5 cm, linear or linear-oblanceolate (var. linearifolius), with usually 2(-4) glands at the very base beneath, usually glabrous on both surfaces; base cuneate, rarely rounded. Petiole 2-10 mm, stout, channelled. Inflorescences of many-flowered, pyramidal racemes. Bracts up to 5 mm long, subulate; bracteoles subulate, eglandular. Sepals broadly ovate to ovate, the 2 anterior ones usually with 2 glands near the edges. Petals 10-15 mm long, subcircular, unguiculate, yellowish, ± lacerate. Wing of the samara up to 2.8 cm long, oblique-ovate. |
