Description: |
Perennial herb up to 50 cm tall with erect or sometimes decumbent stems. Leaves spirally arranged, sessile, sheathing at the base, narrowly lanceolate to ovate, 2-10 cm long, hairy above and beneath particularly on the veins; margin ciliolate. Inflorescence terminal, usually solitary, very densely flowered, 1.5-7 cm long, usually more or less broadly ovoid in shape. Flowers pale orange-yellow. |
Notes: | This species can be distinguished from Aneilema johnstonii by the much more densely compacted inflorescence and the paler yellow flowers. |
