Description:
Perennial herb up to 35 cm high, growing from a bulb. Leaves linear. Flowers white with a band of dark olive-green to grey-green on the tepals. Flowers often not fully opening.
Notes: A species under this name is mentioned in various literature from Zimbabwe, Botswana and Mozambique. The correct identity appears to be uncertain but until we have more updated or accurate information we have placed it here.
Derivation of specific name: setosa: bristly-hairy
Habitat: In dry open woodland and on rocky outcrops.
