Description: |
Small perennial herb, usually less than 15 cm tall, growing from a vertical rhizome. Leaves 5-8, arching, usually folded along the length, 3-15 cm long, sparsely bristly-hairy or hairless above; margin and midrib below conspicuously ciliate. Flowers 1-2 in 1-5 inflorescences, usually after the leaves, 12-18 mm in diameter when fully opened, bright yellow. |
