Description:
Robust terrestrial herb 45–70 cm tall. Leaves along stem, ovate 7.5–9.5 cm long, lowest 2 more or less sheathing, usually withering at flowering time. Inflorescence densely many-flowered; bracts ovate, 3–3.5 cm long. Flowers green and white. Dorsal sepal ovate, 16–18 mm long, very convex; lateral sepals obliquely ovate, 18–24 mm long, rolled along the length. Petals 2-lobed; upper lobe narrowly linear, 16–18 mm long, lower lobe narrowly linear, 20–25 mm long. Lip 3-lobed; mid-lobe filiform, 24–35 mm long; side lobes filiform 18–30 mm long. Spur 3–5 cm long, slender, swollen at apex. Stigmatic arms 15–20 mm long.
