Description:	Dwarf epiphytic herb, virtually stemless. Leaves 2-5, fleshy, blue-green, growing from a mass of radiating roots. New leaves often just developing at the time of flowering. Inflorescences up to 12 cm long, many-flowered, all flowers poining more or less to one side. Flowers, c. 9 mm across, cream to yellow-green, sweetly scented. Spur up to 12 mm long.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name:	amaniensis: of Amani, a German Botanical Reseach Station in Tanzania, where the type was collected.
Habitat:	High rainfall Brachystegia woodland and evergreen forest.
Altitude range:	750 - 1500 m
Flowering time:	Apr - May
Worldwide distribution:	Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
