Description: |
Annual climbing herb, up to 1.2 m tall. Srptems angular, sometimes reddish-brown. Leaves alternate, ovate-cordate, 2-7 cm long, sagittate at the base; margin entire; petiole up to 2 cm long. Flowers in 3-6-flowered whorls in the axils of the bracts, together forming axillary racemose inflorescences. Perianth greenish, 2-5 mm long. Fruit a 3-sided nut. |
