| Description: |
Deciduous tree, 10—18 m in height with a spreading crown. Bark smooth, grey, flaking in thin plates to reveal a reddish brown underbark. Leaflets in 6–10 pairs, distal pair or those next to the distal pair slightly larger than the rest, 2–3 times longer than wide, 22-35 × 5—12 mm narrowly to broadly ovate, oblong-lanceolate; apex subacute to rounded or retuse; base more or less oblique; midveins subcentral; petiole 5—15 mm long. Flowers in short terminal heads, small and inconspicuous, creamy-white; petals absent. Pods 8—11 × 2—3 cm. thinly woody, hairless. |
