Description:
Twining creeping or climbing herb. Stems densely covered in spreading rusty hairs. Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets broadly ovate to almost round, 2-3 cm long, mucronulate at the apex,pubescent; petiole 1-3 cm long densely covered in rusty hairs. Stipules narrowly triangular, 2-4 mm long. Flowers in congested axillary inflorescences on peduncles up to 4 cm long. Calyx densely rusty hairy. Standard obovate, 10-13 mm long, golden yellow with dark red or purple stripes, hairless.

Worldwide distribution: Restricted to the Chimanimani Mts of Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
