Description:
Perennial herb with vertical rhizome up to 18 cm. long, usually stemless but sometimes with a stem up to 15 cm. long. Bulb at the base of the rhizome, ovoid, usually 1–1·5 cm long. Leaves in a rosette, 3-foliolate; leaflets subcircular to very broadly obovate, up to 22 × 22 mm, rounded or shallowly emarginate at the apex, usually almost hairless on the upper surface; petiole up to 13 cm long. Flowers in 4–10-flowered pseudumbels, pink, purple or bluish, with pedicels up to 20 mm long. Sepals narrowly lanceolate, 4–7 mm long, orange-yellow at the apex. Petals up to 14 mm. long. Capsule subglobose to ellipsoid, up to 5 mm long.
