Description: |
Much-branched shrub or small tree. Bark grey and rough. Leaves spirally aranged or in whorls of three, elliptic, oblong or obovate, up to 12 cm long, dark olive-green above, much paler to silvery below with dense appressed hairs; lateral veins parallel, closely spaced, not ridged; apex rounded or notched, with a hair-like tip; margin entire. Flowers small, white, in branched dense terminal heads. Fruit kidney-shaped, c. 7 × 10 mm, black when ripe. |
