Description:
Spreading shrub or small tree up to 8·5 m tall, with rough greyish bark; branchlets, greyish or brownish, lenticellate. Leaves 3-foliolate with leaflets sessile, linear-lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, hairless or sometimes hairy mainly on the midrib, dull green above, paler beneath; median leaflet 4–13 cm long, lateral ones about 1/3–2/3 smaller; margin slightly revolute, entire or shallowly crenate-dentate; petiole 1·5–5 cm long, slender, hairless or sometimes hairy, slightly grooved. Inflorescences axillary and terminal, nearly as long as the leaves or terminal ones slightly longer, lax. Flowers unisexual in the same inflorescence, pale yellow, very small. Fruit a yellow-brown to cinnamon-brown drupe, shining, 4–5 mm in diameter, depressed-globose or diamond-shaped, slightly asymmetric, smooth, hairless.
