Description: |
Shrub or small tree with branches and branchlets typically spreading horizontally. Leaves opposite, held in a horizontal plane; elliptic to narrowly ovate with a distinct drip-tip. Both surfaces thinly covered in short hairs. Flowers solitary, pubescent, corolla lobes with long green "tails", which are already visible when still in bud. The style is distinctly exserted. Fruits yellowish to pale green, spherical when fresh, turning 2-lobed when dry. |
