Description: |
Shrub or small tree. Leaves elliptic to obovate, 10-20 cm long, stiff and leathery, glossy green, midrib and main lateral veins often distinctly paler; domatia present; stipuls simple triangular-ovate. Flowers in branched heads; corolla 4-5 mm in diameter, rich cream or yellow, densely hairy in the throat. Fruits in dense clusters, ovoid, c. 7 mm long, red to blackish when ripe. |
