Common names:
Status: Native
Many-stemmed straggling shrubby herb with stems up to 1 m long. Leaves mostly opposite, lanceolate, spreading, 23-40 mm long, hairless except for a few short hairs on margin or midrib above. Inflorescence 20-30-flowered, head-like but elongating and spike-like up to c. 10 cm in fruit. Calyx with enlarged leaf-like lobe, 2.5-5 mm long. Corolla white, hairless outside; throat and tube a little hairy inside; tube 3.5-5 mm long; lobes more or less lanceolate, 3-4 mm long.
Notes: The specimen in the images (Wursten BW1031, K,SRGH,LMA,BR) was found in different habitat and at much higher altitude than is typical for this species but otherwise appears to have all the correct characteristics.
