Erect annual herb, up to 30 cm tall, with 4-ridged stems, branching from near the base. Leaves opposite, ovate-lanceolate to ovate-oblong, 4-30 mm long, decreasing in size towards the base, folded lengthwise, spreading, subpetiolate near the base, sessile in the upper leaves. Flowers in terminal corymbose heads, 5-merous, whitish or creamy-white, sometimes with purple veins. Capsule narrowly ellipsoid, 4-5 mm long. |
