Description:
Shrub or small to medium-sized evergreen tree. Leaves lanceolate to lanceolate-elliptic, glabrous except for a few small appressed hairs, reticulate venation slightly raised above; base slightly asymmetric. Flowers in branched terminal and axillary heads. Calyx green, glandular on the outside; petals white, shorter than the calyx lobes; stamens c. 9 with long exserted filaments. Fruit obovoid or ellipsoid, 2.5 - 3 cm long, contracted near the base, sparsely pubescent.
