Description:
Small tree to 4 m, or more often, a bushy shrub. Branches strongly lenticellate. Leaves 10-25 cm long with (2)3-4(5) pairs of leaflets; rhachis narrowly winged. Leaflets elliptic, ovate to subcircular; margin crenate or serrate. Calyx 5-8(10) mm long, campanulate to shortly cylindric; calyx teeth less than 3 mm long. Corolla tube 3.5 cm long, curved, widening near the mouth; upper lip suberect, the 2 lobes joined to c. halfway; lower lip with 3 recurved free lobes.
