Robust herbaceous climbing perennial. Stems long, somewhat bamboo-like, often reaching the tree canopy. Leaves alternate, linear-lanceolate, 10-22 cm long, sheating at the base; apex modified into a coiled tendril; margin entire. Flowers in branched terminal heads, creamy-white. Fruit a red berry. |
