Notes: Small tree, 3 m tall, 8 cm dbh. In fruit (immature), flower and bud. Sepals, petals and staminal tube yellow, anther appendage brown. Inflorescence axis minutely pubescent. Somewhat common in the understory of lowland, moist tropical rainforest.
