Perennial herb, 20-35 cm tall, growing from corms. Leaves 2-3 basal, terete, 1-2 mm wide, developing long before the flowers appear and usually dry and broken at flowering time; 2 more leaves along the stem, short and completely sheathing. Inflorescence 3-6-flowered. Flowers pale pink to purplish with the lower tepals yellow in the basal part and darker pink at the apex. |
