| Description: |
Erect annual or short-lived perennial herb, up to 1.7 m tall. Stems with some ascending branches, ribbed, appressed hairy, particularly when young. Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets linear-lanceolate to lanceolate, usually up to c. 11 cm long, thinly appressed puberulous below. Flowers in long many-flowered racemes. Standard yellow with reddish-purple veining on the outside. Keel shallowly rounded at the middle with a short incurved beak, shorter than the wings. Pod subsessile, cylindrical, up to 3.8 × 0.6 cm, sometimes, curved at the tip, appressed puberulous. |
