| Description: |
Perennial, branched herb or shrublet, up to 1.2 m tall. Stems 4-angled, woody at the base. Leaves opposite, lanceolate, up to c. 7 × 2.3 cm, with a long, narrowly tapering, pointed apex, hairless to pubescent, particularly on the midrib below. Flowers in a terminal heads on the upper branches, sourrounded by leafy bracts. Corolla pale blue, lilac or purplish-pink; tube 1-1.7 cm long; lobes 5-4.5 mm long. Fruit ovoid-globose, 5-7 mm long, beaked. |
