Perennial herb, 80 - 120 cm tall, growing from a corm, solitary or in clumps. Foliage leaf solitary, much longer than the flowering stem; 1.5 cm wide, sheathing leaves 2-3, often drying brown. Flowers yellow with dark yellow nectar guides on the outer tepals. Outer tepals, 35-50 cm long spreading or reflexed; inner tepals 30-40 mm long, erect. |
