Rather straggly shrub or small, multi-stemmed tree. Young branchlets densely yellowish-grey velvety. Hooked prickles scattered along the branches and the leaf rhachis. Leaves with 4-7 pairs of pinnae; leaflets in 4-15 pairs per pinna, oblong-elliptic, up to 18 × 9 mm, green-green, finely hairy; petiole with a gland near the base. Flowers in short axillary spikes, creamy-white. Pods often in clusters, yellow-brown, densely hairy, 6-12 cm, dehiscent. |
