Stems basally somewhat woody, densely branched, yellow-green to brown with dense long white hirsute indumentum young branchlets velutinous. Leaves alternate, trifoliolate; petiole slender, 10 - 45 mm long, rigid, acute, yellowish, densely pubescent; stipules deltoid, up to 15 x 3 mm, green, foliaceous, caducous; lamina circular in broad outline; pinnae shortly stalked ( 1-1.5 mm long), unequal, 5-60 x 1-10 mm, medianally larger, narrowly ovate, apex rounded to delicately apiculate, base cuneate to obliquely rounded, margin entire, ciliate, dull green, adaxially glabrous, abaxially with long white sericeous indumentum concentrated along prominent midrib. Inflorescence an axillary raceme, 3-20 cm long. Flowers large, almost 2 cm long, slightly pendulous. Petals golden yellow, standard purple tinted. Pod inflated, up to 35 x 15 cm, greenish with purple sutures thickened and prominent, shortly apiculate glabrous. Seeds numerous, in single dorsal row, rectangular, brown, 1 mm long, verrucose.-17.62500024.3750005
