Description:
See var. natalitia for general details. This variety is distinguished by the calyx and upper part of the pedicel being pubescent.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: natalitia: of Natal South Africa, where the type specimen was collected
rutshuruensis of Rutshuru in eastern DRC.
Habitat: In mountainous areas along margins of forest, wooded grassland and along stream sides.
Altitude range: 1200 - 2200 m

Worldwide distribution: Angola, Eastern DRC, Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
